  • Lemon Juice: Lemon juice is full of vitamin C and powerful antioxidants that manage high blood pressure during pregnancy. It also controls bowel movement, indigestion and constipation during pregnancy.

How to make- Squeeze two fresh lemons in a glass of water, add salt and sugar in it. Your lemon juice is ready!

  • Carrot Juice: Carrots are a good source of beta-carotene, Vitamin C, A, and phytochemicals that help in the development of bones and teeth of a baby. It also protects the mother from free radicals and promotes appropriate body functions.

How to make-

In a blender, take two peeled and chopped carrots and blend them well. Add some water and empty it in a glass.

  • Beetroot Juice: Beetroot juice is rich in vitamin A that helps in boosting energy levels and prevents anemia. It is amazing for mommies-to-be as it can fight fatigue and weakness.

How to make-

Take ½ or ¼ beetroot, peel and blend it in a blender. You can also add a few mint leaves to give the juice a refreshing taste.

  • Cucumber Juice: Cucumbers are a great source of vitamin A, folate, vitamin C, manganese and potassium. The juice neutralizes acids in the mouth that are common during pregnancy.  It also regulates blood pressure and prevents swelling.

How to make-

Blend two cucumbers in a blender. Add some water if the consistency is too thick, remove in a glass and enjoy!

  • Apple Juice: The most recommended juice during pregnancy is apple juice. It is full of nutrients and minerals that help in brain development of the baby and prevent anaemia.

How to make-

Take two apples, peel and chop them. In a large bowl, boil it and let it cool for some time. Blend this in a blender. Add some lemon juice to enhance its taste.

  • Orange Juice: Orange juice is one of the most refreshing juices that is rich in iron, zinc, folates, antioxidants and vitamin C. It helps in reducing the risk of any infant disease and promotes the formation of new tissues and red blood cells.

How to make-

Peel an orange a blend it in a blender. Strain the juice and drink it.

  • Pineapple Juice: Pineapple is a rich source of bromelain, vitamin C, manganese and vitamin B1. The juice helps to lower the blood pressure, boost immunity and prevent constipation.

How to make-

Chop the pineapple into small pieces and blend it in a blender. Top it some mint leaves and your pineapple juice is ready!

Try one or two of these juices daily but remember not to go a juice diet while you’re pregnant juice will keep you hydrated and provide much-needed minerals and vitamins for you and your baby.
